Top 4: Performances

It's Rock Week!

And... yow. They're doing six duets, covering every combination of contestants, instead of, say, eight solo performances. That's... that's actually kind of an interesting idea.

The mentor is Slash, and there's been no dress rehearsal due to technical problems. Funfunfun.

No, wait, I'm wrong. I guess they're doing four solo performances, followed by two duets?

(Close. Two solo performances, followed by a duet. Repeat.)

My brother's Slingbox wasn't working for some reason, but the DVR picked it up, and I'm watching it now. Will probably update with reactions afterward, but you can go ahead and post your predictions if you want.

Added, 10:05 PM: Okay, just finished watching the recording. The ending of Danny's song was the only actively bad bit, but... ouch. Though I actually thought the Danny/Kris duet was better than the Adam/Allison one, what with the use of harmonies and all.

Anyway, the results this week are anybody's guess.

Oh, Nokey Gokey. That was...not a good ending. Contrary to popular belief, you REALLY don't HAVE to do the screams in that song, Danny.

My thrill of the night? Allison out-performing Adam during their duet. Get it, girl. She may still be in trouble, though. I have NO idea who is going home. Basically, it's anyone but Adam.

I did not see the Adam/Allison duet and don't see it posted anywhere. The end of Danny's song failed. The beginning was weak, but had definite potential. The Kris/Danny duet... I am a big fan of that song and I am not very pleased with this.
I think Allison did a much better job this week than in previous ones, and although I think that Kris did a good job adding his own "flair" to his song, I think it was a much safer pick than Danny's song, so....

I keep going back and forth on Kris vs. Danny... I think it probably will be Kris going tonight, but I'm gonna roll the dice and see what happens.
