I actually think Sanjaya is going to stay this week, but we'll see. I loved Brandon in the auditions and Hollywood, but he hasn't been bringing it. We'll see. I think Chris Richardson will continue to murder songs because tween girls will like him.

I honestly have no idea with this season. Kiki and Melinda are going to burn out before the end because they are frontrunners now (remember tamyra, paris), so it's really going to be who tears it up at the end.

As usual, I have no idea, so here's a guess. (Can Melinda win? Maybe... maybe not. I'm starting to think Jordin is a dark horse possibility, too. And I don't love "Kiki" near as much as the judges seem to.)

The dominant issue is the same as it was in season 3: there are too many good female black R&B singers, and results are likely to be weird until they consolodate fanbases or get lost in split votes. (Gina's gonna benefit from that, having a totally different appeal, even though she's far from the best singer. Pam's right: she is this year's McKibbin. But McKibbin made it to third place.)
