Posted by Shmuel at April 26, 2005 11:59 PMWow - that wasn't too good. I love my Carrie, but she didn't do that song justice at all. It was nice seeing her more comfortable on stage, though. I thought Bo was the best last night - perfect song choice, perfect execution. He rocked my socks off. As much as I like Vonzell and she really tore that song up after the bridge - Simon was right - she was off during the first verse. Anthony was surprisingly good, and Scott was boring and should be going home tonight. Then there's Constantine, who I actually thought was the worst last night. The phrase "sucked royally" comes to mind. That song is one of the ones on my brother's Karaoke Revolution Game for Xbox, and we have both done a better job with it. I was also REALLY put off by his camera-whoring last night. He just followed every camera around, kicking away. It's okay to do it a little, but dude - there's an AUDIENCE there. You might want to pay attention to them a little. I hope he's on the bottom 3 tonight just to knock him down a peg. Carrie could very well see her first foray into the bottom 3. We'll see. Anyway - I'm supposed to be making predictions, aren't I? Here goes nothing:

Y'know something? I'm not making this my pool prediction, 'cause I'm going to continue to gamble on Connie getting the top spot, but I think he's heading home this week. So not a good performance last night.
Unexpectedly enough, I think Anthony did the best job this week. For what it was, it was a really solid performance. I'd put Bo in a close second, followed by Scott, and then Vonzell, Carrie, and Constantine.
However, for my official predictions, I'm gambling that the Con-Man hangs on, and Scott heads home.

I could even watch Scott's performance, I erased the DVR after 15 seconds.
I would say truly that the order of the show should be the order of tonight's finalists, but alas. I've probably blown any chance of winning this anyway. So here's the order that I liked. :(

Ack! I totally forgot about AI this week -- I had a job interview that lasted until 9PM last night and that's all I've been thinking about. I haven't seen the results yet, so if it's ok by you guys I'd like to ask that whatever I predicted last week be carried over. I hope that's ok.
I'm going to go check the results now...

I did provisionally carry over your predictions from last week, so that works too.
