That was a fun show. I would say that Anthony or Scott will go home tomorrow, as they were the weakest tonight, IMHO. It's a tough call though.

1. Vonzell
2. Carrie (I still love her, and am voting, but Vonzell was a lot better tonight)
3. Bo
4. Constantine
5. Anwar
6. Anthony
7. Scott (praying here...)

This is going to be a tough one, as no one was amazingly bad. Also? I used to love guys in eye makeup until it was ruined for me tonight. Ruined, I tell you!!! I will also give the Constantool props for sounding good the last few weeks, but I thought tonight he sucked. He's also in no danger of going home. Bah! Anyway, let's get to it, shall we?

1. Carrie
2. Vonzell
3. Constantine
4. Bo
5. Anthony
6. Scott
7. Anwar

I'm hoping for Scott, but with our luck, he'll get through. Ugh. Go HOME.

i no longer feel like i even have the capacity for guessing what america is going to do. I thought this was the worst show so far. oh well.

1. Vonzell (she really should win the whole thing, but i can't see that happening).
2. Bo
3. Carrie
4. Connie

So now does america vote for the homogay, the xtian pop gaylet (man were those jeans pretty on him) or the thugly.

I wish i could do like the good guys did on Inferno II last night and wait and see if my top 4 are correct before making a decision.

I just don't know.

5.Scott
6. Anwar
7.Anthony

After the results of AI last year, my voter confidence in America is in the toilet. As far as the results from last nite...well, I LOVE Carrie and I think she is gonna take the whole show to the bank...however, her song choice last nite sucked and she needs to move on stage. The is by far the BEST vocal singer and she is gorgeously cute...but she needs to learn to move and pick better songs.
Constantine has been growing on me lately. Great stage presence...picks perfect songs for himself and is getting better vocally every week. Vonzell is beautiful, decent voice, decent moves and picks decent songs.

The top 3 Idols are going to be Carrie, Constantine and Vonzell...mark my words!!!! Carrie and Constantine are the only ones who have never been in the bottom 3.

Scott, I used to like you..you were good last nite,....you're a good singer, but that's all you've got. Your a face for radio...that's it.

And Anthony....REALLY good singer, but you and Anwar would be the top two contenders on American Queer whenever that debuts....lol

And Bo...hmmm.....that's just a tough one...anyone's call!!!

Umm, okay... I agree 100% with this Tony guy about the Top 3, and I think that "georgeously cute" should be said more often...

But "American Queer"???!!!

Dude, WTF? Was that really necessary?

I do agree that Carrie needs to move around a bit more. Last night her vocals were great, but her song choice sucked (IMO) and she moved less than ever. *shrug* I think she was scared.

Urg. Reasonably dismal episode. Simon was right; Bo's performance was "the only authentically good" one, although I'd put Scott -- of all people -- in a respectable second, easily ahead of the rest of the pack.

While Sockgirlie and I continue to differ about Constantine (I was digging the eyeliner), he muffed the song choice this week. Carrie chose The Worst Song Of All Time, was a bit pitchy, and removed the one thing Donna Summer's version has going for it-- its high energy level. Anthony was okay. I agree that Vonzell did choose the most demanding song, and was riding the edge between success and failure; I just think she ended up on the wrong side of that line. Anwar almost redeemed himself at the end of his song, but I'd score it as "too little, too late." On the whole, nothing really terrible, but -- Bo excepted -- nothing really good, either.

I figure Bo and Scott are safe this week, and Anwar's number may finally be up, but who knows.

(And hey, Tony, welcome!)

1. Constantine
2. Carrie
3. Bo
4. Vonzell
5. Scott
6. Anthony
7. Anwar

Bah, I had to turn it off for the sake of my relationship last night, so I only saw Connie and part of Carrie. Connie disappointed me and Carrie, well, eh. So, this week I'm almost entirely hedging my bets:

1. Bo
2. Connie
3. Carrie
4. Vonzell
5. Scott
6. Anwar
7. Anthony

Sigh. I hope I get to watch next week!
