Top 8: Results!

Spoilers follow!

Each of the bottom three are to sing their favorite song of the series tonight. Scott starts by hopefully singing "Against All Odds," rather than "She's Gone." Bo, after imprudently reinforcing the fact that he doesn't much care whether he wins or loses, opts for "Remedy." (Just before that, Paula again declares that Bo will be in the finale. Unless she means as part of a group medley, I'd have to predict she'll be disappointed.) Nadia, opting for a practical outlook, sings "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me."

Bottom three: Scott, Bo, Nadia.
Bottom two: Bo, Nadia.
Voted off: Nadia.

Heather, Sockgirlie, and Tekay pick up one point apiece (in all cases due to this week's prediction).

I stand by my earlier statement that this is FIXED!
I am disgusted.
Absolutely disgusted.
I think I may vomit.
Pathetic.

I'm less convinced that it's fixed now, bc as we said, this year's men's talent was better than the women, so it's a given that a higher number of guys still remain than ladies.

Be that as it may, Scott and Anthony still being safe is beyond comprehension.

Nadia would have become the Kim Locke of this season had she remained longer. People have gotten tired of "Bo" because he has become sort of one note now. Connie dropped the rocker bs like Randy said...so they aren't pitting themselves against each other anymore.

I don't know why Ryan was saying it was such a shocking evening, I mean Nadia's been in the bottom 3 times. law of averages going here. And as much as I love Crystal Gayle, yeah, she could have picked a better song (plus though I love her, I was getting tired of aspirating an "H" before every beginning vowel.)

Nadia has been Jennifer Hudson'd.

AND DANG IT that would have been sweet if i would have gotten all three positions correct. Dang you America!!!

And since I don't vote, I'm not really complaining about it.

I just realized that I'm going to be in L.A. the night of the finale. I may have to go haunt the Kodak.

Shmuel - I forgot to tell you that Jerry has now turned his voting fervor to Scott. I blame him completely for Nikko's ouster.

I'm firmly in the "it's not fixed" camp, but y'all know that...

Sockgirlie: regarding your first post, cool!

Regarding the second: [sigh] Of course he has.

In case there was any question about it, I don't *really* think it's rigged...
It's just easier to place blame that way! Muahahahahaaaa...
I really think that Nadia wouldn't be gone if people voted for OVER-ALL performance instead of each night in particular... I dunno.
I *almost* prefer Mikalah over Scott, so I guess that shows how much I despise that... *sweetsmile*nevermind.
