Results below. West Coast and Hawaiian viewers who don't want to be spoiled, wait until the show's aired in your time zone before reading further. Those coming in via Google who want the scoop, here you go:
Bottom two (by implication): Lindsey, Mikalah.
(From my standpoint, I can't lose: either Lindsey goes home, and I called it, or Mikalah goes home, and I rejoice.)
First finalist off the island: Lindsey, as predicted by Heather, Pam, and Yours Truly.
One down, ten to go!

I am lost.
Did I just learn something new?
If we can determins that I did, then I won't feel so dumb.

The distinction is between those who live in the stste of Hawaii (Hawaii residents) and those indigenous to it (Hawaiians).
In our defense, this is not a distinction made by any of the dictionaries or style guides I've consulted, and I suspect it's not made by anybody who isn't from or in Hawaii. On the other hand, I do have readers in Hawaii, and, anyway, it's generally better to call people what they want to be called. So. Now you know!

(Thanks!)
now i'm trying to find something that justifies it.
nothing.
hawaii's not especially known for its grammar/style.
but, i'll say, pick up any local newspaper or turn on any local news, and they will always use "hawaii" as an adjective to describe residents and "hawaiian" to describe anything that pertains to the native people of hawaii. but you would think it would be stated somewhere...
crap. now that's going to bug me.
