Note to Self: next time you're asked how long it'll take to do a project, any project, double the length of time in your first reaction. Then consider doubling it again.
I didn't do that, and I'm currently sleep-deprived and trying desperately to finish something by yesterday. Instead of, say, writing a proper introductory Holidailies entry. Which I don't have time for.
But briefly... hi, I'm Shmuel. Thirtysomething freelance editor: editor by choice, freelance by necessity, thirtysomething despite all efforts at denial.
