I was gonna post another set of Friday Five answers, but this week's questions are basically all about Halloween and related holidays, which don't really apply to me, given that I've got the whole Jewish thing going on.

Brief synopsis of where I'm at: The holidays are over, as of this past Wednesday night, so I'll finally have a chance to claw my way out from the wreckage of The Semester Thus Far. I managed to write one essay this morning and turn it in this afternoon, even if I did arrive to class hella late. I have a couple more papers to go next week (and these are all overdue, but the professors are all aware of the situation). Still, it's an improvement. I'm hoping it's all uphill from here.

Y'know, I've had some much more fun entries in mind. With any luck, I'll get around to writing them one of these days.

Oh, in the meantime, I've added a journal and a weblog and some other stuff to my other journals and links pages. The journal is Jed's. The navigation can use some overhauling, in that you can pretty much only start from the most recent day and work your way back, but the content is pretty good. Lotsa Harry Potter links recently, including that Sorting Hat one from my last entry.

Okay, I'm slightly disgruntled. This site claims I'm a Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff! Only the most boring of all the houses at Hogwarts.

At least the official site got it right. Slytherin all the way...

(Okay, so the quiz in the first link is rather better. It just doesn't match up with my fantasy life... not to mention my house T-shirt and mug.)
