Lost time is never found again. --John H. Aughey |
Saturday, July 3, 1999 Catching Up On Friday, I went to camp, and made sure that the paper was distributed properly. Somewhere along the line, I stopped by the bank across the street, and deposited the check for the bond -- which I'd gotten signed by my father just before going to camp -- bringing my account up to $280.01. Except that I withdrew $20 right then. (For those keeping track, the bond was $180, the 68 cents got lost at the start of the month 'cause I'm below $400 or so, and the bank kicked in one penny, presumably to keep the account active.) I stayed in Far Rockaway for Shabbos, putting up this note just before it began. And I'm clearly not up to writing much more tonight, so I'm going to go to sleep now. Which is what I spent most of Friday night and Saturday doing, incidentally. So I think I'm going to proceed straight on to Sunday in the next entry.
