In Brief

I really must go to sleep. This journal can keep, under the circumstances. But in brief:

  • The good news is that my TV's reception of the WB was okay tonight.

  • The bad news is that I accidentally set my VCR to start recording an hour later than I should have, so no Buffy until I get my hands on somebody else's copy.

  • After tonight's Urban Studies 101 session, I have more or less decided to stop attending any more classes except when Buffy is in reruns. I won't be missing anything important, and I will be avoiding a great deal of aggravation. (No, not just from missing the show. The warning bells that were chiming quietly last week are now clanging wildly. I'd rather not drop the course entirely, though.)

  • If you had told me two years ago that the day would come that I'd write something like the above item, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

  • I worked at the English Department today, schlepping supplies across campus and answering phones. Not a bad way to spend the day.

  • A new reader asked me to put in a search engine. And told me how to get one free. So here it is. I'll make the page look nice and link to it on the front page once I get the chance. For now, functional will do.

  • Oh, by the way, I finally got around to updating my Other Journals and Links pages the other day.

  • I still have homework to do for tomorrow's acting class. Here's hoping I fall asleep quickly and manage to write it tomorrow morning...
